The Center for Colon & Digestive Disease is the first, the largest, and the only independent ambulatory endoscopy center and practice in North Alabama, dedicated to gastrointestinal diagnosis and treatment. Our state-of-the-art facility houses our Endoscopy Center on the first floor, and our consultation suites and offices on the second floor. We strive to offer our patients a spacious, relaxing, and pleasant environment in which to manage their gastrointestinal health.

Founded in 1975 by Dr. Wilhelm Tietke, there are now seven partners who comprise CCDD. Though each has individual specialties, nutrition, for example, all seven are board certified in gastroenterology. The combined experience of our partners exceeds one hundred years of practice.

Our mission is to consistently provide the highest quality gastroenterology services in an efficient and cost conscious manner, that places patient health, service, and patient satisfaction above all else.
